Summer Camp (ages 8-12)

TYM offers 6-day summer camps for foster care children ages 8-12. Our camp is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Pescadero, CA. TYM camp is a place where children really experience the exhilaration of true nature first hand. Dense redwood forest surrounds our primitive camp where running water from hose spigot is the extent of our modern creature comforts. Six kids and 2 team leaders will sleep in a large canvas tee-pee, cook on an open fire, explore the creature filled Butano Creek, ride mountain boards, climb the wall, take on the ropes course, and frolic in the swim pool and canoe and fish to their hearts content.

Each night the teams will present skits and songs at campfire and are given the message:
God Loves You – No Matter What. Staff to child ratio is kept at 2:1 because each child needs
that much love and attention.
